Holi is a bit different from routine movies. Uday Kiran also sings a song (Life is beautiful) in this movie. Movie is expected to be a hit 'cause there is no competition among the recent releases.

Kiran (Uday Kiran) works in a software company. Sandhya (Richa Pallod) joins in the same company as s/w engineer. Kiran falls in love with Sandhya. Chandramohan and Kavita who are the hero's parents come to know about his love affair so does all the members of the family. They encourage his love and advice him to express his love to Sandhya. kiran proposes to Sandhya on the eve of Holi when they (hero, heroine, and their colleagues) visit heroine's village (Madanapalle). Sandhya refuses his love saying that she does not believe in love marriages and they differ and part.
Later Sandhya realizes the importance of love but by then her parents fix her marriage with an NRI. The rest of the story is very predictable as always hero marries heroine.
Uday Kiran's performance shows some maturity but he has to still improve on emotional scenes. Richa Pallod looks simple and beautiful.
Dialogues are not strong and deep. Comedy is okay. Cinematography is good. Lyrics are good. Even though the movie has some drawbacks it stands apart from all other movies recently released.
