'SMS' is directed by Tatineni Satya. And he has come up with an entertaining storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was not upto the mark.
Story:
The story begins with Shiva (Sudhir) who works in a courier office and is a mass candidate. He comes across Shruti (regina) in a train and falls in love with her. He lies that is an army man while Shruti who is an RJ at Radio Mirchi FM lies that she is an airhostess. When Shiva goes to meet Shruti, he discovers the truth. From then on, both try to corner each other. But in between that, Shruti starts developing feelings for Shiva. When the time comes for Shruti to express her feelings, the reaction from Shiva breaks her heart. She hates him and both part ways. Is they meet again? The rest of the story to be seen on the screen.
Performance:
Sudhir has come up with a confident performance and he needs to polish his expressions. Regina looks really pretty and her bubbly expressions catch attention. The actor doing Sudhir's friend's role brought many smiles. Vennela Kishore was hilarious. Rohini was loud. Kasi Viswanath was good. The others didn't have anything to offer.
Music:
'SMS' music is composed by V Selva Ganesh. And the background score was good, and two songs were good for listening, remaing were average.
