'Slokkam' lacks subject, it has no proper storyline. Technically the film is very weak. Direction is mediocre with no production values. Except for K Vishwanath's acting the film has nothing to offer. No character is properly conceived.

Story:
Hayagreevachari (K Viswanath) runs a Veda school in a place donated by the local Zamindar (PJ Sharma). Vivekananda Sharma (Sai Kumar) the son of Hayagreevachari who works as temple priest. Local mafia leader (Vijayaranga Raju) comes to know that the land donated for Veda School has a granite mine in it. The mafia man asks Zamindar to sell off the land, but he refuses. The mafia man kills Zamindar and burns down the Veda School with children inside. Hayagreevachari also dies in this incident. Vivekananda Sharma ignores the act moves off to another town. But his past catches up with him and he comes back and kill the bad guys.


Music:Music by Lalith Suresh is average.
Performance:
Sai Kumar's gave a routine performance, nothing to rave about. K. Vishwanath excelled in his performance his histrionics were brilliant. Ambika did a commendable job as hero's mother.
