'Simhadri' is a complete mass oriented movie starring Jr NTR. Raja Mouli should be commended for incorporating violence comedy, sentiment perfectly. Dialogues by 'Gangotri' Viswanath and M Rathnam are good. NTR had showed excellent performance in the film right as an innocent guy to an action hero.

Coming to story, Simhadri is an orphan. Ram Bhupal Varma raises him as his son. Kasturi (Ankita) is the grand daughter of Varma. On learning about Kasturi's love towards Simhadri, Varma wanted to unite them with marriage, but paternal grandfather of Kasturi (Kota Srinivasa Rao) objects the proposal. To avoid such embarrassments, Varma decides to adopt him as his son. At this point of time, it is revealed that Simhadri is very close to a mentally retarted girl Indu. The alliance between Ankita and Simhadri breaks off. Mean while a bunch of gangsters are in search of Simhadri. They find him at Godavari Pushkaralu along with Indu. In that confrontation between gangsters and Simhadri, Indu gets injured. When she comes back to her senses, she becomes a normal girl and immediately stabs Simhadri. Simhadri is hospitalized. Hearing the news many people from Kerala come to visit Simhadri addressing him as 'Singamalai'.

In the flash back, Ram Bhupal Varma's elder daughter Seeta (Seeta) elopes with a guy (Bhanu Chandar). They settle in Kerala. Simhadri takes up the job of uniting family and visits Trivendrum. There he finds Indu who is the daughter of Seeta. He convinces the separated family and when the reunion is about to happen, Seeta is stabbed by a local goon Nair (Rahul Dev). A rowdy named Bhai Saab (Mukesh Rushi) controls the mafia of Kerala. Nair and Bhai Saab belong to the same mafia. Simhadri takes law into his hands and eradicates goons in Kerala. The local Kerala people starts calling him 'Singamalai'. When Simhadri along with Indu and her father are about to return to Vizag, Seeta goes for shopping, where she gets killed by Nair. Simhadri out of anger takes law into his hands and eradicates goons of Bhai Saab. In this process a police officer (Sarat Saxena) supports him. Bhai Saab's men attack the Nature Cure Centre run by Seeta's husband. Simhadri helps Indira to escape from the place and tells her to go to railway station and he would meet her there. He gets caught in the hands of Bhai Saab's men. Later, he gets released with a bomb in his suitcase. On coming to know about the bomb, Simhadri kills Seeta's husband to save the people in the train. Accidentaly, Indu also jumps from the train and gets a head injury and loses her senses. Finally in the climax everything ends on a happy note.

Overall the movie is entertaining as it has many twists and turns. Jr NTR had showed excellent performance in the film. He improved his dancing skills too. Bhumika fits perfectly as Indu. She impresses with her innocent looks for the character of mad girl. Ankita looks glamorous. Ramya Krishna is hot in the special song. Every one did a commendable job and Comedy is good. Music by Keeravani is impressive.
