Click here for 'Room Mates Songs' The actor-turned director AVS has come back with a suspense plot for his third
venture 'Room Mates'. The film is packed with suspense, love and good music. The
team selection by him is wonderful. With this, AVS proves his status as a good
director.
Rama Krishna (Allari Naresh) likes to play flute. Sekhar (Baladitya) plays
drums. Seshu (Srinivasa Reddy) is a guitarist. Bunty (Suman Shetty) is fond of
playing keyboard. They belong to the same village. One day, a man deceives them
saying that they will be sent to Dubai and takes 2 lacs from each of them. Their
lives takes a turn when they meet Pallavi (Navneet Kaur), an event manager. They
decide to prove themselves. In the process Rama Krishna falls in love with
Pallavi. They get an offer to perform a show at Ravindra Bharati. Unfortunately,
the man who took money from the four dies and the four gets implicated. Jailer
Bhargava (Nazar) helps them out. Sarat Chandra (Naresh), a special officer, is
appointed by the Home Minister to investigate the case. Later the four come to
know that Bhargava is the real murderer. And how the four prove their innocence
forms the rest of the story.
Performance:
Allari Naresh has performed well in the main lead. Baladitya, Srinivasa Reddy
and Suman Shetty did justice to their roles. The chemistry between Navneet Kaur
and Naresh is fine. Navneet Kaur played her role consciously. Nazar suits well
as a jailer cum murderer. Naresh did a job as a special officer. The music is good. AVS's direction is fine except for some sequences. Screenplay and
Cinematography are adequate. The other aspects are okay.
Verdict: Average. | |
