Director Muppalaneni Shiva is known for his portrayal of family drama. 'Rajababu'
is his latest flick with Raja Shekhar in the title role. The movie has a routine
subject with some sentimental sequences.
Rajababu (Raja Shekhar) is the elder son of Parandhamaiah (Vijay Kumar). The family comprises of Rajababu's parents, his wife (Sridevika), sister and a brother. They lead a reputable life in the society. Rajababu is very helpful for the needy.
Parandhamaiah sets up another family at Annavaram and keeps his dual marriage as a
secret. At his final moments, he reveals about his second family and asks Rajababu
to take care of its members. Rajababu sets to help the other family. This leads to
many misunderstandings among his own family members. And how did Rajababu succeed
in clearing the misunderstandings forms the rest of the story.
Performance:
Raja Shekhar performed his role well. His action sequences are good. Sridevika did
her role as a wife to Raja Shekhar. She is ok. Sharada played a role of Raja
Shekhar's mother. She is back after some gap. Vijay Kumar's role as Raja Shekhar's
father excels. The comedy track between Brahmanandam and Kovai Sarala is excellent.
Kovai Sarala is absolutely brilliant in her parody as Chadramukhi. Music given by
S.A.Rajkumar is moderate. Story and Direction are of old times. Screenplay is ok.
Dialogue and Editing are good.
