'Raaj' is directed by V N Aditya. And he has come up with an age old storyline and while the presentation was mediocre, the narrative was stale.
Story:
The story begins with Raaj (sumanth), a fashion photographer and he reluctantly gets married to Mythili (priyamani). The reason for that is Raaj is in love with Priya (vimala) but she leaves him one day without giving a reason and her whereabouts are not known. However, Raaj and Mythili get intimate and when they start to lead a happy life, Raaj sees Priya. He is desperate to know why she left him without a word and lies to Mythili that he is going abroad for a trip. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Performance:
Sumanth was a disappointment in his performance, he didn't fit the role a bit. Priyamani looks quite vulgar and she has generously given a glamour show. Vimala Raman looks seductive hot but not much in terms of performance. Ajay was hardly there. Srinivas Reddy and Ali tried to bring some smiles.
Music:
'Raaj' music is composed by Koti. And the background score was alright but songs were pathetic.
