Chaitanya (Shiva Balaji) is a youngster who likes to serve the society and orphans. He indulges in the pains of others and tries to console them and help them. His parents and his childhood friend Shanthi's (Sindhu Thulani) parents are family friends. Shanthi works in a software company where her colleague Siddharth (Dhanush) falls in love with her. He keeps on trying to convey his for her but she negates. He also takes of help of Chaitanya to convey his love to Shanthi. Chaitanya helps but nothing works in Siddharth's favour. Eventually Chaitanya himself falls in love with Shanthi. Shanthi also loves Chaitanya. Thus Siddharth's love story ends up as a failure. When Shanthi and Chaitanya decide to meet at a point in person to share their love, accidentally Chaitanya gets killed with the hit of a bullet. Here the movie takes a turn. Shanthi weeps, goes maniac and decides to fight against Naxals who killed Chaitanya. Naxals convey that it's a mere accident to kill Chaitanya as their target was only Ramesh Chandra IPS. Shanthi approaches Human Rights Commission, Home Minister and Police to punish the naxals for the crime. How Shanthi mobilizes people to her side with an idea to refresh the judicial system forms rest of the story.
Performance:
Sindhu Thulani looks glamourous in songs in the first half and acts with all performing drive in the second half of the movie. The film runs around Sindhu Thulani and she had a long role to perform. Shiva Balaji did his role with all enthusiasm. He brought in good life to the screen with his performance for about one and half hour in the movie. Dhanush has got sharp features and fits well to play lover boy roles. Music given by Micky J.Meyer is good. Storyline is simple and conveys a message to the people in the society. Bharadwaj's direction is good. All the other technical aspects are adequate.
