 Synopsis
Gopichand, who gave us some good movies like 'Navvulata' earlier, is back with yet another triangulat love story that surrounds among three people. The film has a different story that was never told before. The director deserves a praise for his attempt in presenting an interesting film.
Srinu (Dhanush) is an innocent guy who comes to Hyderabad from a village. His house owner's daughter Anitha (Samragni) likes his honesty
and innocence. Slowly love blossoms between the duo. But she changes her mind when a rich business man called Rana (Ravi Varma)
proposes her. Anitha, being a greedy middle class girl, ditches Srinu and marries Rana. Dejected Srinu commits suicude. Anita leads a happy life
with Rana until one day, she is kidnapped and tortutred by Rana's car driver Chalapathi (Shafi). And what happens hereafter, is to be seen on the
silver screen.
Performance: Dhanush did his job well as Srinu. His expressions are fine. Ravi Varma got a least impact in his role. It was a routine role for
Shafi. Yet he did justice. Samragni played a tough role as Anitha. Her role involved both negative and positive shades. Her expressive eyes
helped her a lot on the screen. Satya played the role of Anitha's friend. The others did upto the content. Music by Ashirvad is pleasant. Story,
screenplay and direction by Gopichand, are fine. The other technical aspects are okay.
Verdict: Average. | |
