'Nenu Pelliki Ready' is a triangular love story. As the title suggests the film revolves round the 'marriage' subject and hence the story value is very less and the screenplay have to dominate the entire film. The only solace in the film is the comedy by Sunil, MS Narayana, Jayalalitha and Jeeva.

Story Gopikrishna (Srikanth) is an assistant manager in a private company. He is against marriage and always tells his grandmother (Ramaprabha] that he would marry a girl, who is well educated, with a decent job and good-looking. At the same time, she should be loyal to him and his family. She is worried as to where a girl with all these qualities is available. At the instance of his grandfather MS (MS Narayana), Gopi visits a marriage bureau run by Priya (Sangita) and seeks girls for alliance. He selects three girls Savitri (Anita), a freelance journalist, Bhavana (Laya), a classical dancer who runs a dance school and Neha (Vidya), a bank employee. Instead of routine engagements, he wanted to befriend them personally without their knowledge that he was seeking alliance. So, he meets each of them and develops friendship and gets near to them as a friend. After a few days, all the three become good friends to Gopi and each of them say 'I love you' to him and say that 'Nenu Pelliki Ready'. Now Gopi is in soup as he could not say no to any one of them. However, he tells all of them that though they loved him, he did not love any of them and he made just friendship with them.

Now, Gopi decides to get rid of all the girls, which he could not. Ultimately, he tells each of them that he could not marry her, as he was about to marry another girl. But each one of them demands to show his fiancée. So he invites all of them to Venkateswara temple and shows each one to the other that she was his would-be. But Savitri's brother-in-law Rampandu (Sunil), who could not marry her realises that something is fishy and wanted to get it clarified with the help of his Circle Inspector uncle (Jeeva). Then the game plan of Gopi gets revealed. Now, all the three girls besides Rampandu and the CI were after Gopi. To avoid them, Gopi climbs a building and accidentally falls from it resulting in grievous injuries. Then, he chalks out another plan and makes the doctor (Ahuti Prasad) to tell all the girls that he lost his memory. Unable to do anything, the girls return from the hospital. Priya, who visits Gopi in the hospital, comes to know that it was all a drama. Finally, Gopi selects Priya as his wife, who also tells him 'Nenu Pelliki Ready'.
Music
Music by Chakri is not very impressive. The songs choreographed in foreign locales were okay.
Performance
Srikanth gave good performance. He slips into the role perfectly. The director failed to give justification to Sangita's character well. MS Narayana as a drunkard grandfather of the hero, Mallikarjuna Rao and Jayalalitha as parents and Jeeva as the uncle of Anita did justice to their roles individually.
