'Mr Nookaiah' is directed by Ani Kanneganti. And he has come up with a different storyline and while the presentation was rich, and as well as the narrative also good in parts.
Story:
The story begins with Anuradha (kriti) a bank manager who falls in love with Ravi (raja) and gets married to him. A job offer makes him travel to another city. However, one MMS received by Anu shows that he has been kidnapped by Shahjahan (murali sharma). The demand is for Rs 2 crores. Meanwhile, Nookayya (Manchu manoj) is a cell phone thief and he is an orphan who has Charger (vennela kishore) as his best buddy and an uncle (paruchuri). Nookayya sincerely loves Shilpa (sana khan), a bar girl and he wants to earn a lot of money to marry her. Few situations cross the paths of Anuradha with Nookayya and he becomes responsible for saving her husband's life. But there are bigger shocks waiting for both. All that forms the rest of the story.
Performance:
Manchu Manoj is all over the film and he has delivered very well. Kriti Kharbanda was simply beautiful and she was equally good in her performance. Sana Khan was sexy and is a visual feast. Murali Sharma was impressive. Vennela Kishore made his presence felt. Brahmi was hilarious. Raja revealed a different side to him. The others did their bit as required.
