'Kudirithe Kappu Coffee' is directed by Ramana Salva. And he has come with a confusing storyline and while the
presentation was impacting, the narrative was not upto the mark.
Story:
The story begins with Venu (varun) who loathes love and romance. The reason for that is the suicide of his very close friend
due to love failure. On the other hand, there is Lasya (suma) whose dream is to start a resort at the coffee shop being run by
her grandmother Malathi (sukumari) at the hill station Dakshinagiri. However, what Lasya doesn't know is the coffee shop
belongs to Venu's father (bheemineni). The story takes a turn when Venu is sent to Dakshinagiri to help Malathi, who was
once the teacher for his father. At the same time, Lasya also comes there. As expected, she falls in love with Venu. But will he
reciprocate to her feelings or not forms the rest of the story.
Performance:
Varun Sandesh comes up with a brittle performance and he was missing his charms this time. Suma is bubbly and she has a
domestic sensuality which is hard to miss. Sukumari was matured, Bharani was not used to the fullest, Sivannarayana was
funny, Bheemineni was the best. The others did their bit as required.
Music:
'Kudirithe Kappu Coffee' music is composed by Yogeswar Sharma. And the background score was good and three songs were
excellent.
