'Khadgam' is an excellent movie directed by Krishnavamsi. It shows the true meaning of a secular country. It has good screenplay, excellent storyline and good dialogues. The movie shows that Muslims in India are as much patriotic as Hindu's.

Amjad (Prakashraj) and Koti (Raviteja) are good friends. Though a Muslim Amjad behaves like a true Indian and tells his Muslim brethren that they should not fight with Hindus just because something happened somewhere in the country. Koti is a person, who dreams of becoming a hero and always moves around the studios for characters. Uttej is Koti's friend, who also tries for a chance to become a director. Radhakrishna (Srikanth) is a deputy commissioner of police, who loses his wife Swathi (Sonali Bendre), while trying to arrest Masood, a notorious extremist of Pakistan, who is in India to create communal disturbances.
Radhakrishna is angry against Muslims as he strongly feels that they love Pakistan and because his wife loses her life in the fight with the Muslim extremists. However, Radhakrishna's friend, an Army captain (Brahmaji) tells him that Amjad is not like other Muslims but he was a patriot and loves India. Amjad's brother Azhar, who was responsible for the death of Radhakrishna's wife, gets training in Pakistan and returns to Hyderabad to somehow take back Masood caught by the DCP.
Somehow, Koti gets a chance to play a hero in a film and Uttej is its director. While they were about to move to an outdoor shooting, Azhar blasts one of the compartments and threatens to blast the entire train and he claims that the impact of the bomb will be up to five kilometers. Radhakrishna and Amjad reach the railway station with the hardcore terrorist of Pakistan. While there was a heated discussion between Amjad and his brother Azhar, Koti somehow escapes from the compartment and attacks Azhar. Finally, Amjad himself tells Radhakrishna to kill Azhar, because his brother is a traitor to India.
Starcast was excellent. Srikanth, Prakash Raj and Raviteja did a good job. Heroines had a very little scope to perform. Sonali was only for 15 minutes. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is good. To sum up 'Khadgam' is a good movie to watch.
