'Dhairyam' is a remake of tamil flop Sullan which was also directed by Teja. But Teja is not worried about what happened to Sullan. He insists that his film is "different". But 'Dhairyam' has nothing new and is a disappointment from Teja. It is 100% formula movie, a poor guy falls in love with a rich girl and the girl's father plays the bad guy.

Story:
Seenu (Nitin) is happy go lucky guy. His father is a municipality truck driver (Tanikella Bhaarani). He falls in love with his classmate, a millionaire’s daugther Mallika (Raima Sen). Mallika also loves Seenu and they happily spend time with each other singing and dancing. Mallika's father Somalinga Raju (Rehman) puts a sudden break to it and sends Seenu to jail on some wrong case. How Seenu escapes from the jail and wins Mallika forms the crux of the story.


Music:Music by Anoop is impressive.
Performance:
Nitin plays his part well. The much talked about Telangana accent is natural. Raima Sen is glamorous to look at but her talent in acting is average. One time hero Rehman makes a neat comeback as a character artiste. Ali's comedy is cheap. Suman Shetty had major role in first half of the film and did pretty well. Tanikella Bharani is good as father of hero.
Verdict
Average.
