'Chapter 6' is directed by Soorya Kiran. And he has come up with a rather inconsistent storyline and though the presentation was okay, the narrative was bad.
Story:
The story begins with Bharath (bala) and Shilpa (sonia) who have the initial hide and seek games and in no time, they fall in love. They also get intimate and Shilpa becomes pregnant but she is scared to talk about marriage since her father is the police commissioner. So the lovers decide to elope. On the other hand, there is Satyabhama (kalyani) who is an orphan and single woman who exposes the police and drug mafia connection. She is working with a chit fund company and suddenly the company shuts down and she is brought for enquiry. The cop she got suspended is heading the investigation. In all this, when Shilpa decides to elope, she gets kidnapped. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Performance:
Bala does his bit as required but he could have been better, Sonia attempts to give a glamour feast but it is hard to say she is heroine material. Kalyani is the saving grace as she does her bit to bring life into the film. The sequences between Kota and Dharmavarapu bring few smiles. Jagapathi Babu's voice over was effective. The others didn't have much to do.
Music:
'Chapter 6' music is composed by Mohan Sithara. And the background score was okay but songs were not good , just average.
