Click here for 'Brahmastram Songs' Click here for 'Brahmastram Preview' Director Surya Kiran has come out with a different storyline for 'Brahmastram'.
His selection of team is interesting. He tried to focus Jagapathi's character in
two different dimensions. The story runs in a slow pace. The movie lacks the
necessary ingredients expected from Jagapathi's movies.
Rudra (Ashish Vidyarthi) is a villian whose powerful weapon against his enemies,
is Guru (Jagapathi Babu). He is nurtured like an animal in a cage since his
childhood. Unfortunately, Rudra's opponents succeeds in seperating Guru from
Rudra. The life of Guru takes a turn here onwards. He joins in the association
of Gayathri (Neha) and becomes a normal man. He falls in love with Gayathri.
Meanwhile, he comes to know that his mother was killed by Gayathri's father. And
how he takes revenge on his rivalries and set right the things, forms the rest
of the story.
Performance:
Jagapathi Babu has performed well in a different role. Neha Oberoi is adequate.
Ashish Vidyarthi suited the role of a baddie. Kota Srinivasa Rao has excelled in
his performance as Ashish's opponent. Kusuma also played well. The comedy
sequences by Brahmanandam, Venu Madhav are fine. The music by Vaibhav is good.
Narration of story is slow. Screenplay is weak. Cinematography is fine. Action
is in abundance. The other aspects are okay.
Verdict: Average. | |
