'Bhadradri Ramudu' is definetly a big break to boost Tarakaratna's career as a commercial hero. Director and writer Posani Krishnamurali did an excellent job in handling the direction, script and screenplay of the movie. The dialogues are powerpacked and screenplay is apt.

Story:Ramamurthy alias Ramudu (Tarakaratna) is the grandson of Nimmakuru Ramaiah (NT Ramarao). He was brought up by his grandmother Mangamma (KR Vijaya). They live in Bhadrachalam. Mangamma wanted to get Ramudu married and approach a marriage broker (Ali). Ramudu happens to see a photograph of Sita (Radhika) with the marriage broker and wanted to marry her. Incidentally, she happens to be in Bhadrachalam to learn 'Chekka Bhajana' and Mangamma broaches alliance and talks to her father Umapati (Mallikharjuna Rao) and performs the marriage in the Bhadrachalam temple. After the marriage, Mangamma and Ramudu wanted to fulfill their vow. Meanwhile, Sita escapes from there. The people of the entire village search for her but could not trace. Moreover, they have no details about Sita and family, including their phone number. Bewildered, Ramudu moves in the village desperately and finds the 'taali', which he tied to Sita near the railway track.

He catches the marriage broker, who tells Ramudu, that she stays in Germany and those who acted as her parents were not the real ones and drama artistes. She just got him married, as an astrologer told Sita that her second marriage would last long and her mother wanted to get Sita married with her brother-in-law Bunny.
But Ramudu decides to get back his wife at any cost and leaves for Germany. Despite several obstacles created by his mother-in-law, he wins over all of them and wins the love of Sita. She decides to return to India with her husband, but Jagadamba did not allow it. Instead, she makes arrangements for Sita's marriage with Bunny against her wish. But Ramudu enters the scene and takes her away. Jagadamba stops them, and she shoots Ramudu but the bullet hits Sita. Then Jagadamba realises her mistake. The film ends on a happy note with Jagadamba uniting Ramudu and Sita.
Music: Music by Sri is excellent and melodious.
Performance: Tarakaratna improved his performance and body language a lot. His histrionics in sentiment scenes and pathos are quite mature. Debutant heroine Radhika looked good. Vanisri was in her usual form. KR Vijaya did well as the grandmother. Sudhakar and Chalapati Rao are ok in their roles. Posani Krishnamurali also played the role of a Pakistani cab driver settled in Germany.
