Gunnam Gangaraju is a committed director whose movies reflect a high sense of
originality and novelty. He has come with a different subject for his venture
'Amma Cheppindi'. The selection of cast is fine. The director succeeds in
presenting a good sentimental flick.
Bose (Sharwanand) is a mentally challenged boy who behaves like an immature
child. His mother, Saraswathi (Suhasini), loves him a lot and believes that he
is a normal child who is capable of achieving something in his life. His father,
Dr Bharadwaj (Pavan Malhotra), is a big scientist in a rocket center who thinks
that his son is of no use. ISI plans to destroy the rocket center during an
event which will have top scientists of India present. Razia (Sriya Reddy) is a
CBI officer who looks after security arrangements for the event. And how Bose
emerges as a real hero with the help of his mother and succeeds in saving the
lives of scientists in the researh centre, forms the rest of the story.
Performance:
Sharwanand is just perfect as Bose. He performed well in the emotional sequences
and did his best to satisfy the audience. Suhasini lived in her character as a
loving mother. Sriya Reddy played well as CBI officer. Pavan Malhotra is okay.
The others did upto the content. Music by Keeravani is very good. Choreography
by Gangaraju is fine. Dialogues are neat. Story and direction are also good. The
other technica aspects are just adequate.
Verdict: Average. | |
